22 weeks

How far along? 22 Weeks.  5.1 months completes and 55% done!
Baby Size: Elle is the size of spaghetti squash this week.  I find that really hard to believe, because even the organic (aka normal sized) spaghetti squash I buy are huge!  Where is that inside of me??  I know she's a lot skinnier than they are, and curled up, but still.
Total weight gain:  +9 or 10, I think
Maternity clothes?  Mainly maternity if I need to look presentable.  But to the gym and around the house I still wear my normal assortment of t-shirts and running shorts.
Stretch marks?  Nothing new, although the boobs are growing again.  Still piling on the body oil and lotion every day.
Sleep:  So-so at best.
Best moment this week:  SEEING Lizzy kick!!  I actually saw my shirt move.  It was amazing!!
Miss Anything?  Not having hip pain and being able to sleep like I used to.
Movement: Yes, finally!  I started feeling her on July 14th.
Food cravings: Slurpees from 7-11 and Mexican food
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope.  But on the 25th I couldn't sleep and suddenly had to sprint to the bathroom.  I thought I was going to get sick!  I was salivating like crazy (which always happens right before getting sick), but after a lot of spitting the feeling passes.  I wasn't even nauseous, that the odd part.
Gender: Girl!!!
Labor Signs: Nothing.
Symptoms:  Hip pain, insomnia, constant thirst, constant peeing, super dry skin all over my body (not on my face though), and breaking out again.  Getting crazy swollen feet and ankles started a few days ago, too.
Belly Button in or out? In and shallow
Wedding rings on or off? On.  But I had to get a replacement wedding band because since I got pregnant I've had a horrible reaction to the white gold.  It looks like a gross burn mark all the way around my finger where my rings sat.  I ordered a plain sterling silver band from James Avery to hold me over till this allergy goes away.
Mood: Normal...peppy and happy.  Sleepy, too.
Looking forward to:  My OB appointment in a few weeks.

  2. You look adorable! I can't wait for my baby bump to start showing. Oh and for your hip pain, I highly recommend getting a prenatal massage. I'm going to school for massage, so getting massages has made me feel amazing and I've yet to experience any pains.
