Lizzie's 1st Quilt

I started on the patchwork waaay before I got pregnant.  I joked to B that maybe it would be finished before we had our first kid.  Joke's on me, I guess.  Anyways, I finally buckled down and quilted it.  I only did the yellow squares, but I think I'm going to add some more.

I love looking at it, knowing it's going to be our daughters.  Lizzie will have tummy time on it, cuddle up under it for movie nights when she's older, and hopefully love it to pieces.  It's too big to be her "blankie", but I'm hoping it will still be a comfort piece for her.

The back side is cozy white flannel with three big blocks of three matching prints from the front.  It's laying on the full sized bed in the guest room (soon to be repainted and made in to her room), so it's a nice size for a little girl.
I hope she loves it!
