3 Months!

Our sweet little girl is 3 months old!  Time just keeps flying by way too quickly.

Stats:  Baby girl is 10.3 pounds (obviously our scale at home is off).  Because we are following a delayed shot schedule, we go in to the doctor every month and thus get her weighed.

Likes:  Eating, sleeping on her side, and taking naps while cuddled with me and/or daddy.  BATHS.  Baby girl LOVES bath time.  Being in her stroller and being worn are her preferred modes of transportation.  Watching the mobile above her swing.  Sitting up, whether in her Bumbo or propped up against the Boppy.  The motions that go with "If you're happy and you know it" make her giggle and smile like crazy.

Dislikes:  Falling asleep and extended tummy time.  Being swaddled-we've moved in to the SleepSack stage!  She really doesn't like when I talk while she's nursing; she'll pull off and get all fussy.  Getting in her car seat.

Milestones:  Lots this month!  She slept through the night (8:30-5:30, and then 5:45-7:30), and many nights she will truly sleep from 8:30-7:40...so proud of her!  She now giggles and grins.  She grabs at her hanging toys and sucks on her hands like they are going out of style.  Izy has started to make small rocking motions while having tummy time...she'll be crawling before we know it.  She has also started to actually notice Mackie and watches him carefully (as we all should...crazy pup).

  1. So jealous of that night sleeping! What is her schedule during the day?

    1. Oh gosh...it changes a bit each day, but I wake her up at 8 and she goes down for her morning nap around 11:45. She sleeps anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. Her next nap is around 430 or 5 and it's normally pretty short; about 30 minutes to an hour. In the evening she gets a bath, fed, and right to sleep. I feed her every time she wakes up (and/or every 3ish hours...she lets me know if she needs to eat sooner than normal) and try to NOT nurse her to sleep.
